Question 1

Why am I applying to 100+ jobs on LinkedIn and Naukri without receiving callbacks?

Accepted Answer

Applying to hundreds of jobs with a generic or multi-column resume often results in automatic disqualification by ATS algorithms. Without exact keyword matching, single-column parsing compliance, and quantified bullets, recruiters never see your application.

Question 2

How does Naukri Resdex search work for recruiters?

Accepted Answer

Recruiters on Naukri use Resdex to run boolean queries matching specific key skills, experience range, location, notice period, and profile freshness. Candidates with exact keyword matches and active profiles in the last 7–15 days are ranked first.

Question 3

Is PDF or Word DOCX better for uploading to Naukri and LinkedIn?

Accepted Answer

A high-quality text-selectable vector PDF (generated by ATS CV Maker) is ideal. It preserves exact styling, layout, and font rendering across all recruiter devices while allowing 100% seamless text parsing.

Question 4

How often should I update my profile on Naukri.com to stay visible?

Accepted Answer

You should update or re-save your Naukri profile every 3 to 5 days. Even a minor modification (such as re-uploading your ATS resume or tweaking a skill tag) resets your "Last Active" timestamp, placing your profile at the top of recruiter searches.
